Performed in Enfield

// July 30th, 2017 // No Comments » // News

Had a performance today in enfield. “Garden party.”

Was so much fun!! I was my dads support act for his band. Shades of midnight.

Sang some old classics and loved every minute of it. With an injured foot and still not feeling 100% well. I still pulled through it.

It was a private event but still had an amazing turn out. People of all ages were there.

Just to add, I’m Wishing my cousin Becky a very happy 30th birthday and happy birthday to John from the band, hope you both had the best weekend of celebrations.

Check out link below to watch a little snap chat clip of my live performance today.

Enjoy !!

Freddy Ready For New Natisse Release

// August 8th, 2012 // 2 Comments » // News

A legendary New York DJ who has re-mixed Justin Timberlake, J-Lo, Adele and even Frank Sinatra has turned his attention to an unknown female singer from Watford.

Freddy Bastone started his DJ career at iconic New York club Danceteria in the 80s before spending the last three decades producing and remixing some of the biggest names in pop, dance and rock – from Radiohead and Rod Stewart to Missy Elliot and the Pet Shop Boys.

And now he’s remixed a new single by Natisse – otherwise known as 22-year-old Natalie Shedden, who works at a north London gym as a fitness instructor.

The single – Keep The Faith – is an anthemic electro pop track which features former Number One singer Spoonface, who topped the UK charts in the Noughties as the face and voice of Black Legend with Barry White cover You See The Trouble With Me.

And it also pays homage to iconic Clash track London Calling – which is what initially attracted Freddy.

He explains: “I was sent some demos from the UK earlier this year, and as a massive Clash fan Natisse’s original version of the single jumped out at me. London is obviously the centre of the world this year, and I really liked the UK Urban vibe in the track, which is why I decided to get involved.

“I never normally remix unknown acts, but I did a bit of homework on Natisse and can definitely see she’s got what it takes – hopefully the single will be a hit and we can work together more in the future.”

Natisse has previously featured in anti-music piracy campaign Support The Music on behalf of the BPI, which saw her appear on Radio 1 Newsbeat, 1Xtra and 6 Music, plus BBC Newsround and BBC Asian Network – while a dubstep remix of a previous Natisse track has had nearly 0.5m Views on YouTube.

She added: “Freddy has a stellar CV, having remixed some incredible names down the years, so it was an honour to have him involved with the single.”

The new Freddy Bastone remix, together with the Keep The Faith, is on YouTube:

Keep The Faith is distributed by Nova, and will be available from all leading digital download stores from August 12. A new Freddy Bastone podcast on National Public Radio starts next week.

Mum’s the Word for New Natisse Single

// August 3rd, 2012 // 7 Comments » // News

An unknown 22-year-old singer could be set for an Olympics-themed chart hit – after helping the mother of McFly lead singer Tom Fletcher get in shape for her son’s wedding.

Fitness instructor Natalie Shedden put Debbie Fletcher on a strict training programme at Curves gym in Pinner, north London, earlier this year in the lead-up to heart-throb Tom’s spring wedding.

And Debbie was so pleased with the results that she’s now urging her 30,000 Twitter followers to support Natalie, who goes by the stage name of Natisse – and whose single ‘Keep The Faith’ is out next month.

Debbie said: “Natisse was great in helping me get in shape for Tom’s wedding in May. We spent a lot of time working together in the gym, and she told me all about her singing career and even sang me her latest song.

“I was so pleased with the results of the training programme, and so impressed with her singing, that I said I’d help her get the track noticed.”

The new single, which features ex-Number One star Spoonface – formerly known as Black Legend – is a rousing electro pop anthem, and Debbie added: “It’s got a great chorus and could be the ideal soundtrack for Brits at the Olympics later this month.”

Natisse, who had nearly half a million YouTube Views of a dubstep track she sang on previously, said: “It was great fun helping Debbie get in shape, and I probably got a bit carried away telling her about my singing – even though I had no idea to start with that her son is a massive pop star.

“Debbie has a huge following on Twitter, partly because she’s always happy to tweet back to McFly fans and pop fans in general, and it’s fantastic that she’s spreading the word about the new single.”

Keep The Faith is released as a single on August 12.
